Hi!How are you?:)
I gathered several body care product to write about. So let’s start with review on Estelle&Thild Body Butter.
But first short introduction to the brand taken from Estelle&Thild site.
Pernilla Rönnberg founded Swedish skin care house Estelle & Thild in 2007. The organic brand draws from cutting edge scientific research and uses pure bio-active ingredients.
As the former CEO of a skin care company, Pernilla became uncomfortably aware of the harmful chemicals and unnatural ingredients liberally used by many skin care brands. Pernilla began to reflect on the world in which her daughters, Estelle and Mathilde, would grow up. She wanted to develop an innovative skin care brand rooted in high impact results and organic ingredients.
Shortly after launching, Estelle & Thild became an instant success throughout Scandinavia and received accolades in the international press. Today Estelle & Thild’s wide range of products can be found in over 1,300 stores worldwide. Pernilla’s pioneering work allows women to indulge in an effective skin care regime with a conscience.
I’d like to start with the design of their body care products. It’s minimalistic but at the same time very pleasant to look at and keep in your hands.
Estelle&Thild Fresh Water Lily Body Butter has interesting texture. It looks thick but it melts under your fingers and feels like some kind of souffle. It’s very soft and silky when you rub your fingers on this butter:)
You can see on this picture how this butter looks. It’s nothing like the other butters I tried.
As it’s organic brand I think it’s a good idea to include picture of ingredients.
It’s nourishing and moisturizing but I’m not sure how it will perform on extra dry skin. I usually have dry skin on arms and legs and if cream is not moisturizing enough my skin feels not uniform and smooth This butter kept my skin silky and soft during all time of usage. It has light flower scent. It’s very pleasant but not powerful and it doesn’t stay on skin. Estelle&Thild Body Butter absorbs fast, doesn’t leave any sticky feeling. I really enjoyed using this butter.. is it a scent? texture? or may be price:D
There is one minus, the price. It costs 154 kr (20 Euros) for 200ml, which may be not sooo much but it’s not very budget friendly in general.
Did you try anything from Estelle&Thild? Do you like natural body care products or you don’t pay a lot of attention to the ingredient list?
Have a nice day!:)
